Wow!! We have come to the end of week 5, how’s everyone doing? Is anyone actually starting to feel like this is normality now? It’s definitely been a better week for me this week. I’m still not getting much sleep but I’m definitely feeling more positive. It helped that Monday was a bank holiday meaning another gorgeous day relaxing in the sun.

I was up nice and early to make the most of the day. I went straight for a 5k run before it got too hot as I’d been tagged in the social challenge ‘Run 5, donate 5, nominate 5’. It was an excuse to run and I felt really fresh after it.

The rest of the day was spent relaxing and enjoying the weather and playing with my puppy pal.

The week was a busy one again, a lot of calls and project planning. Keeps me busy so that’s a positive. The evenings were pretty full on for me as well. So I’ve been working on trying to launch a t-shirt campaign to raise money for AgeUK. I’ve got a few people on board to help which is great, we’re now just working on pulling everything together to launch the week after next. There’s a lot to do… design the tee, get a webpage up, set up an online shop, schedule social media posts…the list goes on, but we are on it and will keep you posted on how things go.
It’s been another gorgeous weekend of sunshine. I know I keep mentioning the weather, but seriously…I’m not sure whether over the past few years it’s been this good and I’ve missed it or are we actually having one of the nicest springs ever?

We found an open Chinese takeaway yesterday…can you believe it? Around here every Chinese has been closed. I jumped at the chance to order. I’ve been craving some crispy beef and egg fried rice…YUM!! And yes, it was well worth the wait. Ben and I had a game of Mario Party after food…I lost as per usual. We played for hours with beers and gin, it was fun.

Today, I’ve been slightly hungover I won’t lie but I’ve managed to pull myself together as it’s Franks 1st birthday! I can’t believe he’s one already. I made him a little hat and sign, he looks so bloody adorable <3. We took him on a lovely birthday stroll as well to tire his little legs.

Now I’m currently finalising the quarantine quiz for this evening, it’s our turn to be quizmasters. Hopefully it’ll be fun. Going to sign off early today. Have a lovely evening all.
Sending happy thoughts and positive vibes <3
Josie
